Constitutional Amendments
The graduate and professional student body will consider nine (9) constitutional during its general election March 23rd through March 27th. Below is the summary of each bill and a link to see the full text of the bill as amended.
Constitutional Amendment 1
Title Page
Summary: This amendment capitalizes the GPSA Constitution title and inserts the current GPSA logo.

Constitutional Amendment 2
Article II, Section 1
Summary: It sets payment for the President in accordance UNM policy and UE collective bargaining agreement. Allows Council to impeach President with a simple majority vote. Requires a Special Election to occur within thirty (30) days to replace impeached President. Other grammatical/formatting changes.

Article II, Section 2
Summary: It sets payment for the Chief of Staff in accordance UNM policy and UE collective bargaining agreement.

Constitutional Amendment 4
Article II, Section 3
Summary: Changes Committee Term to Director in several areas. Changes the name of three (3) committees. Removes one (1) committee. If chairs receive payment for services, it sets payment in accordance UNM policy and UE collective bargaining agreement. Other grammatical/formatting changes.

Summary: Allows RDSAs to have up to a total of five (5) voting members. It sets payment for the Council Chair in accordance UNM policy and UE collective bargaining agreement. Other grammatical/formatting changes.

Summary: Establishes Presidential appointment of Chief Justice. Chief Justice term starts after appointment. Chief Justice payment established by President. Other grammatical/formatting changes.
