The Finance Committee organizes the annual GPSA budget and works with the GPSA President, Chief of Staff, and officers to keep a balanced budget. The committee supervises the allocation of GPSA funds to departmental and non-departmental graduate and professional student organizations.
The GPSA offers three kinds of funding for student organizations. For information about these funding sources, see this page. Funding for individual graduate students is handled by the GPSA Grants committee.
During the semester, the most-commonly sought funding source is an appropriations request. This page provides information for making such a request.

Deadline to submit appropriations requests: March 31, 2017 at 5:00 PM. Groups should use the new Appropriation Request Form, available on the Appropriations page. NOTE: This will be the last deadline for the current fiscal year.
Future Appropriations Request Deadlines: After March 31, 2017, the Finance Committee will no longer be accepting appropriations requests until the start of 2017-2018 academic year. Please check back in August 2017 for more information.
